Rum Balls
need:
2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafers
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup chopped (almost powdered) walnuts
3 tbsp dark corn syrup
1/4 cup rum
do:
1. Mix crushed wafers, cocoa powder, and sugar.
2. Add chopped walnuts, corn syrup, and rum.
3. Roll into 2-inch balls (I prefer 1-inch rum balls).
4. Roll balls in powdered sugar to coat them.
5. Store in a covered tin or tupperware. If kept frozen, these treats should last for a little under a month. No need to thaw if you don't mind chewing more.
